It’s sending a bad message to the youth of America, Martha says

While many found Jennifer Aniston’s recent Smart Water ad hilarious even though not bursting with originality, Martha Stewart sees no reason to smile about it. In fact, it’s a very wrong thing to do.

According to her, Aniston is sending a very wrong message to young people by pretending to be pregnant with triplets and wearing an elastic band to cover the bump, as she does in the parody video.

“I just think it makes fun of some things and shows some bad examples to the youth of America,” she says in a recent interview cited by InTouch Weekly.

Martha also takes issue with the fact that Jimmy Kimmel plays Aniston’s son in the ad, which she interprets as a complete lack of consideration for oversized children.

“People learn from YouTube. It’s funny to a point and then it sort of steps over the bounds, I think, of sensibility,” she says.

Above is the ad. What Martha is obviously ignoring is that this is a parody video, meant to make fun of all those rumors about Aniston circulating online and in the tabloid press.
