His personal possession include old credit cards, driving licenses and a chess set, the 1972 Godfather script, covered with hand-written notes which reveal how he created the classic character Don Corleone, a letter from Mario Puzo which says "I think you're the only actor who can play the Godfather"
Helen Bailey, a specialist in popular entertainment at Christie's says "We went to (Brando's) house not long after his death to find this metal container (outside the house) filled with all this amazing stuff." "Some people are hoarders, and thankfully he held on to his stuff."
Among the 300 items on sail the bidders can found a photo of Brando embracing actress Rita Moreno ($600-$800), letters from Jack Kerouac ($5,000-$7,000), Brando's childhood school yearbooks and summer camp medals, musical instruments and boxing gloves.
