Control pants are very popular with women, as they help them hide their flaws and make the most of their strong points. Now, Marks & Spencer is bringing the same hidden aces for men – with the Bodymax underwear.

Bodymax vests have already been released and, because they help the gents hide their beer bellies or the so-called “moobs,” they’ve proven incredibly popular.

Now, M&S is also trying to deal with the lower part of the body by coming out with Bodymax control pants, which offer tight jeans lovers the chance to hold their head high.

In other words, News of the World says, the “bum lift” pants create the impression of a rounder and firmer backside, while also making skinny jeans no longer a reason for embarrassment.

“They are aimed at body-conscious blokes who want to squeeze into tight jeans without showing themselves up. Now M&S want to give men a piece of the action with their Bodymax undie range, launched this month,” the tabloid writes.

“The £15 bum-lift pants apparently raise bottoms by a pert 20 per cent, thanks to their seam-free fabric and design,” News of the World says.

“And the £10 ‘frontal enhancement’ pants have a ‘unique integral shelf’ that bumps up your lunchbox by a whopping 38 per cent,” the same tabloid says, using quite an abundance of euphemisms.

Not only will the new range of control pants offer for support for the male wearer, but it will also translate into a confidence boost because he will no longer try to put on clothes to hide some of his perceived flaws.

“These pants are the next natural addition. We have engineered styles that give real results and provide a big confidence boost,” male underwear chief Dave Binns says for the same publication.

As it can be easily noted, unlike women control pants, the M&S Bodymax range for men doesn’t make claims of promoting weight loss in any way – though the claims that it does make should be more than enough to convince the gents to give it a try.

Re: Bodymax: This is laughable. Why do these people use male models that appear to have no fat on them in the first place. All of the models seem to be well physically fit to say the least. Why don't the advertisers show real men with real beer guts before and after photo shots..that would be more honest. I have a 50" waistline I am not like the 36" waistline models. Maybe this is true to the policy that everyone moans about M&S meaning... Everything is good about M&S , The clothing , The Food, The service etc...BUT ! why is the larger man victimised ? M&S simple does not go above 44" waists in trousers and as I have a 20" neck in shirts I would be lucky to find an 18" collar. It is just not good enough. WE ARE NOT ALL MIDGETS.
