Mark of the Ninja, a 2D action platformer developed by Klei Entertainment and published by Microsoft, has landed on GOG for the Linux platform.

The GOG platform has recently adopted Linux games and developers have started to release their titles on this service as well. Initially made available for the open source platform on Steam for Linux, the developers are now expanding it to another digital distribution service.

“You won't find a more ambitious foray into 2D stealth gameplay than Mark of the Ninja. A detailed and consistent sound and sight system, as well as non-linear level design give you the freedom to approach every objective in your own way. Whether you're a predator relishing each kill, a phantom striking fear and disorder into enemy ranks, or no more than a gust of wind, you can expect the same level of satisfyingly challenging gameplay,” reads the announcement.

The main difference between the GOG and the Steam versions is the lack of any sort of DRM, which should make a lot of users happy.

Also, the Linux system requirements are quite reasonable: a 2.4 GHz processor, 2 GB or RAM memory, 2.5 GB of HDD space, NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT or ATI RadeonTM HD 3000+ video cards, and Ubuntu 14.04 or Mint 17 OS.
