Since his social platform is currently a hugely popular one that attracts new users every day, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, is also getting a lot of attention, including a comic book portraying his life.

Zuckerberg is no stranger to having his life analyzed and used for artistic purposes, considering he was the main character in the movie The Social Network, which got several nominations for the upcoming Academy Awards.

This movie got a lot of publicity and sparked a lot of controversy prior to its release, especially since Facebook founder declared that it did not rely on accurate facts and thus, it was fictional.

Nevertheless, it was number 1 at the US box office the weekend it launched in October 2010, cashing in $23 million.

Due to the success of this movie, a biographical comic depicting the life of Mark Zuckerberg does not come as a real surprise.

Already available in select book stores and priced at $6.99, the 48-page issue was written by freelance journalist Jerome Maida while the illustrations were made by Sal Field.

“Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire on the planet and created something that has already had a profound impact on the world. Yet hardly anyone knows much about him. It’s amazing,” said Maida.

He goes on to say that Zuckerberg's ascension has undoubtedly upset some people, while he himself has stepped on some toes to get to the position he occupies now, so he “[tries his] best to be fair here.”

In other words, Maida attempted to offer an objective approach to all the facts, so as to allow readers to form an opinion regarding Zuckerberk's true nature.

To make things even more interesting, rumor has it that this comic book might even be turned into an animation movie, but no details have been revealed just yet. Anyway, we surely have not heard the last of Zuckerberk or his social networking site.
