Just in case you were hoping The Hulk would be getting his own movie until “Avengers 2,” now’s the time to forget about that: Mark Ruffalo, who played the green raging monster in the first “Avengers” film, says it’s not happening.

Not yet, at least.

“A lot of folks have been asking about the Next Hulk. The next time you see my Hulk it will be in the Avengers 2. No plans for stand alone,” the actor says on Twitter.

He goes on to say that he’s not opposed to the idea but it’s simply not happening right now. This of course isn’t to say that it will never happen, Mark makes sure to point out.

“Just to be totally clear. I did not say there was not going to ever be a stand alone Hulk film. I said there wasn’t one in the works now,” he continues on the same social networking site.

Ruffalo is the third actor to be in a Hulk movie, but he’s the first to actually play it because the character was created using motion capture in “The Avengers,” as opposed to using CGI.
