Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time Hints VIII (DS)

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is the fifth game in the Mario RPG series, and it is a Nintendo DS exclusive title, released in November 2005 in North America, December 2005 in Japan, January 2006 in Europe, and February 2006 in Australia. The game was developed by AlphaDream, and published by Nintendo. Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is the sequel to Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for the GameBoy Advance, and a precursor to the Mario & Luigi 3 game, which has been scheduled for release in 2009.

Even though the game is the sequel to Superstar Saga, the stories of the two games don't have anything in common. Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time explores the story of two brothers who travel between the past and the present of the Mushroom Kingdom.

The adventure follows Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi, as they search for Princess Peach, who has been abducted by an alien species, known as the Shroobs. The game focuses on co-operative play among the four characters, who must use their specific skills in order to progress.

Featuring Mario, the most beloved plumber in the world, the game can be considered a general success, bringing the RPG Mario series to an all-time high on the Nintendo DS console, as it has sold over one million copies until now. It has gained critical acclaim for the innovative use of the DS' two screens and the tongue-in-cheek humorous story. All in all, it is a pretty great game. Defeating Princess Shroob Part I

Use Copy Flower or Trampoline on the shield. Once it is broken, use Mix Flower or a Red Shell, because they are most powerful. Princess Shroob will then attack you with orbs. You must time your jump correctly. She will then pull out another shield, attack with lasers, and see if the lasers are pointing up or down. If she does not pull out another shield, keep hammering her with attacks. She will, eventually, get in her chair and make another shield.

Princess Shroob will then attack by going up and getting four robotic legs. She will jump above one of your characters, and shoot laser rings at one brother. Jump immediately when the ring reaches the brother's head, or lower if you desire. The princess will get straight and try to sit on you. Counterattack with your hammer. She will sometimes stop her move directly above the brother, then continue her attack. Heal, if you need, and attack.

Keep doing this, and you will defeat Princess Shroob. Moreover, you will find out why Princess Peach did not want you to collect the Cobalt Star Pieces.
