Mario Superstar Baseball Unlockables (GameCube)

Continuing the tradition started by such games as Mario Power Tennis and Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Mario Baseball brings a new brand of fun to the world of baseball. The game combines an intuitive hitting system with easy-to-learn fielding and pitching controls - making it an arcade-like experience that will appeal to baseball novices and hard-core fans alike. Players can try their hands at Challenge Mode, where they must wander the land clearing baseball-related trials.

Or they can sit down for a game in the Toy Field, where they hit balls at circles in the outfield to earn coins and other prizes. With multiplayer options for up to four players, wild, character-specific power moves, crazy mini-games and more than 50 characters from the Mario universe, Mario Baseball is sure to be the new favorite pastime.

Character Profiles
To get a profile for a character just play a single player exhibition game and win. The M.V.P will have his profile unlocked in exhibition records.

Coin Derby
In order to unlock the mini-game, "Coin Derby", perform the following task:

Get the Secret Map
To unlock the secret map, beat every minigame once. The secret map lets you go through a warp pipe and go to an island where you can play on toy field. You can play it 3 times and it is 10 turns.

Mini Game Grand Prix
Play through all the mini games in a random order in the Grand Prix.

Not all players are unlocked from the start so you'll need to unlock them if you want to enjoy and experience all of the characters.

To unlock the final item in the shop, complete the item check list which includes all special pitches, treasure maps and the 1-time use items.

Toy Stadium in Challenge Mode
In Challenge Mode, beat each of the Minigames once on any difficulty. Then purchase the Secret Map from the Item Shop for 500 coins. A Warp Pipe will appear to take you to the Toy Stadium Minigame!

Unlock Bowser for Challenge Mode
To unlock Bowser for Challenge mode, simply beat Challenge mode on Special with any character.

Unlock Koopa Castle Stadium
