The new hosts of Simon Cowell’s X Factor US are Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian. Both have experience in television work and are incredibly popular and both, according to reports, have incredibly absurd diva demands.

Following the announcement of the new members of the X Factor team, rumors started to emerge that Khloe and Mario were already at each other’s throat because neither wanted to let the other be the bigger diva.

They’re fighting over dressing rooms, paycheck, camera time and pretty much anything else you could think of, word has it.

On Wendy Williams’ show the other day (see the video below), Mario sweetly shot down all such reports, pointing out to the absurdity of them with a very solid argument: how could he and Khloe be fighting when they’re not even working together now?

“We haven't even worked together! We haven’t even started. We haven't started working together yet so how could we be fighting,” Mario exclaimed when Wendy told him of the rumors now making the rounds.

Even when they do start working together, Mario is certain everything will go smoothly because he and Khloe know each other and have an excellent rapport.

“She's sweet. I've known Khloe for a long time, the whole [Kardashian] family for that matter. So she's sweet and we're going to have a lot of fun,” he says.

Season 2 of X Factor US sees Simon Cowell and LA Reid back in the judges’ chairs, with Demi Lovato and Britney Spears also along for the ride.

The first season did not get off on the right footing, with ratings slipping and reaction to the show mostly mixed, verging on negative.

Consequently, to improve its odds, Cowell let go half the judges panel and the host, looking to hire in their stead only people he considered ideal for the job.

These four seem to have met all his expectations.
