"I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant," he says

Marine officer Joshua Boston wrote a shocking anti-gun-control letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein. She has been vocally advocating legislation for the control of sales and ownership of guns.

A combat veteran from 2004 to 2012, he is cited by Liberty Blitzkrieg, after his moving letter quickly went viral on social networking sites such as Twitter or Facebook.

The letter can be viewed above, and please click to read the entire note. Boston very articulately expresses his discontent for Feinstein's initiative to ban assault weapons.

Perhaps the most powerful fragment is the one in which he stresses he will not be ordered around, and should such a bill be passed, he will not support it.

"I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America. I am the man who fought for my country," he says.
