A Marine Master Sergeant has been charged with the murder of a call girl in Hawaii, reports say.

28-year-old Ivanice Harris of Oregon was working as an upscale escort in Las Vegas, before traveling to Hawaii for her 29th birthday, Hawaii News Now describes.

NBC News reports that her body was recovered on May 20 on an Oahu highway.

38-year-old MSgt. Nathaniel Cosby has been charged with her killing after being caught on camera in her company.

Cosby, employed as a bomb technician and based in Iwakuni, Japan, has been arrested in June.

He has been charged by Honolulu police and he is awaiting a hearing for a potential court-martial. According to the Marine Corps Forces Pacific, he is being held in the brig at Pearl Harbor and he will be attending an "Article 32 hearing."

There are two incriminating videos of Cosby in this case. In one, he is seen with the victim, while, in the second, he is spotted carrying a large suitcase after his night with her.

"There is some evidence but not enough to satisfy prosecutors," a source says.

"I don't know if they need any more witnesses. I don't think they do. I think right now the investigation is in the detectives' hands and they are going to work with what they have right now," Crimestoppers representative Sgt. Kim Buffett comments.

He has stayed at the Waikiki hotel and he was seen with Harris. She cannot be seen walking out of the hotel on CCTV footage.

"The Marine Corps and its commanders take all allegations of criminal misconduct involving Marines seriously and are fully cooperating with the investigation," Lt. Col. David Griesner states.

The suitcase has been examined for DNA samples, but the results are not in yet.

"We are waiting for the results of tests," Honolulu City Prosecutors office spokesman Dave Koga describes.
