On-and-off couple Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood have just recently reconciled again after a break that came, as she put it, because of the many things that made life together impossible. This time, it’s for good, reports in the media have it, as the shock rocker has proposed to his girlfriend and she, of course, said “yes,” The Mirror informs.

Details have not yet been made available, as neither has Manson confirmed the engagement in any way. However, the British tabloid claims to have it from very reliable sources that, indeed, the rocker is dead serious about giving marriage another go, even after the sour experience that was his failed relationship to burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese that ended, as fans must know, in bleak thoughts and depression for the rocker.

“Goth rocker Marilyn Manson, 41 today, has proposed to his actress girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood. The singer – the ex of burlesque pin-up Dita Von Teese – proposed on stage in Paris on Monday night. A delighted Evan, 22, said: ‘Yes!’ Imagine what a show the wedding will be...” The Mirror writes. That last part in the quote is in reference to Manson’s known love for everything eccentric, his wedding to Dita being a clear example of that.

As we were also telling you at the beginning of December last year, Manson himself confirmed that he and Rachel were back together, while doing an interview to speak of his music career and how he had finally broken free of his record label. Though the topic up for discussion was how he had managed to make a comeback in the spotlight with his latest album, “The High End of Low,” Manson also let a detail of his personal life slip, namely that he had gotten his personal life back in order with Wood.

“Sometimes [it] happens when you get to this point in your career, and there are so many things that have happened and influences that you’ve had, besides the influences of the things that have inspired you. Sometimes you feel awkward being what you’re best at, you feel like you have to be something new. But I think that a lot of people will agree that me being me at my best [is what] I need to be. I think that that really paid off because I’m back with Evan, that’s kind of breaking news, you can be the first one to say that,” the rocker said at the time.
