14 DAY TRIAL // Marilyn Manson has invested many years, effort, and money into cultivating an image of himself that he rarely ditches but, oh boy, when he does, it’s totally epic. A diehard fan of HBO’s “Eastbound & Down,” the rocker has taped a cameo on the series.
The photo above, taken last month, is of him in character. It’s just now going viral.
Easily identifiable in normal circumstances by his pitch-black hair, whitewash foundation, and heavy face makeup, as well as his leather outfits and love of platform shoes, Manson looks a far cry from his rock ‘n roll persona in character.
He’s sporting a reddish wig and no makeup, and he looks more like he’s about to scold you for forgetting to take out the trash than to blow your mind with his music, or art, or anything else.
Three years ago, Manson dressed up like Kenny, his favorite character on the show, so now we know that he’s not afraid to show his love and support for it by wearing a mullet.
It’s great then that he finally landed a part on the fourth season, which is now airing on HBO.
