Marilyn Manson Covers “People Are Strange” with The Doors

Marilyn Manson can cause a debate even at those times when he isn't performing his own music but covering others’ hits. The other day, the rocker hit the Sunset Strip Music Festival in LA and performed with the legendary rock band The Doors.

He performed in Jim Morrison's stead a few of the band's greatest hits, including “People Are Strange,” “5 to 1” and “Love Me Two Times.”

Above is a (rather low-quality) video of Manson performing “People Are Strange.” Suffice it to say that fans are now locked in a very fierce debate on social media as to whether he did the song any justice or, on the contrary, offended Morrison's memory by singing it.
