Mariah Carey - the New Pepsi Image

Since she first came in the highlight, Mariah Carey's name has been connected to someone else's, let it be a producer, owner, famous brand, etc. Besides her winning by herself multiple platinum discs and Grammy awards, there has always been someone else next to her just to make sure she receives the necessary amount of public attention.

This time, it's Pepsi the famous name she will be put next to. She will write and produce 20 original voice and instrumental ringtones to be released this summer. Moreover, she will also appear in a commercial for Pepsi Cool Tones & Motorola Phones. And of course, just like Beyonce, Britney Spears or David Beckham before her, she will be the new Pepsi image, starring in Pepsi commercials.

The collaboration between Mariah and Pepsi is even more extended. As part of the agreement there is also the participation in the summer tour with a one-off Pepsi Smash gig at Los Angeles' Kodak Theater. It will actually be the first headline show with "Emancipation of Mimi", Carey's latest musical work.

If we were to track down the latest news about Mariah Carey, we would reach the funny conclusion that she appears more in roles of jewelry line owner, or fragrance line owner, etc., than as a singer. When we talk about Mariah Carey's acting in the show business, it seems like there is more business to it than there is show (literally speaking).
