The diva was in Munich, Germany, last week, in order to attend the "Bambi 2005" Media Awards Ceremony at the International Congress Centrum. She received a Bambi award to celebrate her being the world's most successful pop star.
Mariah was also presented with a gold record for selling in Germany 100,000 copies of her latest album, "The Emancipation Of Mimi".
But, surprise, right after her performance, when returning backstage, she noticed the trophy was missing. It had been stolen from her dressing room, and there was no trace of a thief.
Last weekend, the diva had an encounter with fans, at a record signing in London. Even though it had been
announced she was to descend in a chopper, the diva only arrived in a black cab 30 minutes late.
That is a big improvement, considering that earlier this year she kept fans waiting for 90 minutes at a British awards ceremony, only because she had broken a nail.
But for fans, it was worth the wait in the sheer cold, as a summery Mariah emerged from the black cab: she was wearing, underneath the cream cropped duffel jacket she discarded at once, a tight short-sleeved T-shirt complete with a tight denim miniskirt, knee-length boots and sunglasses.
