14 DAY TRIAL // It’s not Christmas until Mariah Carey says so. The diva, who is always first to admit that she’s so obsessed with the winter holidays that she’d gladly make them last an entire year or at least several months, really likes to go overboard with the festive preparations.

Mariah, nursing an injured shoulder and looking as fabulous as ever in a satin negligee, invited a Good Morning America camera crew into her home for an interview on how she celebrates Christmas and, to boot, she had the chat take place in her very own Pink Room.
The injury on her shoulder is from a fall she sustained on the set of her music video earlier this year, when she tripped on her high heels and fell from a platform.
She explains that the Pink Room is where she keeps all her family photos and all her music awards, so Dem Babies, which is what she calls her twins with husband Nick Cannon, aren’t allowed in it just yet.
From the looks of it, she has at least 2 Christmas trees set up in the room, both decorated with live flowers, and she says she will be decorating another one with the kids and Nick in Aspen, where they will be spending the holidays. The amount of pink and gold in the room is also enough to make a unicorn queasy.
True to herself, Mimi is a diva from start to finish, making sure the camera always gets her “good side,” nonchalantly dropping her silk robe off a shoulder, absent-mindedly (but not quite so) arranging her hair, and even graciously agreeing to show the interviewers a peek at her closet and her impressive collection of shoes.
