Bobbi Kristina, Whitney Houston’s only daughter with Bobby Brown, has long hinted that she wants to step into her mother’s shoes and launch a pop career. If she ever goes through with the plan, she will have backing from two of the biggest names in showbiz, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson.

Mariah and Whitney famously collaborated on “When You Believe” and, rumors of a feud aside, it seems that Mariah is convinced Whitney’s daughter has what it takes to step in and fill her incredibly large shoes.

Insiders familiar with the situation tell Radar Online that Mariah, Randy and Whitney were actually very close friends, so when Houston died in 2012, they were devastated. Having heard of Bobbi Kristina’s music plans, they have decided to do whatever they can to come to her aid.

“Now Randy has decided he wants to make a full court press to help Bobbi Kristina become a star– and Mariah told him she wanted in, too! Mariah would love to step in and provide mentoring to BK because she and Randy have been so close and even worked together on last season’s American Idol. They have years of music experience between them and will share all their knowledge with Bobbi Kristina,” a tipster reveals.

Moreover, adds the spy, Randy is determined to act quickly and to get a first single from Bobbi Kristina (aka Krissi) out there and in the charts in under 12 months. As they say, time is of the essence.

“For her part, Bobbi Kristina is being extremely careful about her first steps into the pop singing world,” the source continues. “[She] wants to be a singing star just like her mom, but she wants to be really careful about how she does it. Bobbi Kristina understands how important first impressions are when you release music.”

She has her mind set on writing her own music, besides singing, but she is yet to receive any proper training in this regard. Mariah will help her with it, if there is anything accurate about the above report.
