Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon became proud parents of twins almost two months ago but the world is yet to see their faces, which is very uncommon for celebrity offspring. Mariah herself tweeted the first picture of her daughter the other day.

Even if Monroe’s face is not visible, technically, it’s still a picture of Mariah’s little diva, as she sometimes refers to her daughter.

In the tweet accompanying the photo (which you can also see attached to this article), the singer says her daughter has inherited her inner diva and she’s already refusing to allow the cameras to snap at her.

“#dembabiesruntings -This is baby Monroe saying ‘no pictures dahhhhling’ at 7+1/2 weeks..oh dear :)” Mariah writes on Twitter.

Speaking of the stars’ babies and the photos that the fans are still to see, a recent report claims that Mariah and Nick were actually hoping to make as much money as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made when they agreed to have photos of their twins released.

So far, Mariah’s only been offered about $200,000 for the baby pics. By contrast, the Jolie-Pitt couple reportedly commanded a $14 million check for the photos of their twins, all of which they donated to charity.

Other sources say that Mariah and Nick don’t care about the money and that the only reason why they’re taking so long to release the baby photos is the fact that they’re concerned about how tasteful they’ll be.

As some of you may remember, the two singers were criticized for the pregnancy photos they posed for earlier this year.

“Mariah and Nick are more concerned with doing the right thing than going to the highest bidder. They’re talking to a number of publications about doing it in the best and most tasteful way,” an insider said the other week, as we also reported.

“There’s not much movement going on right now. Everyone wants them, and everyone is putting in offers. But times and budgets have changed from the Brangie baby years,” another spy added.
