Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are proud first-time parents: they have twins, a boy and a girl. The singer, who gave birth via C-section of couple of days ago, is believed to be back at home, from where she’s tweeting up a storm, teasing her fans about the babies’ names.

The singer tried for as long as possible to keep from the media the fact that she was expecting twins, just like, when that got out, she avoided saying whether she was expecting boys or girls.

Eventually, she broke her silence on Twitter, revealing that she was expecting a girl and a boy, precisely the one option that few fans had guessed correctly.

Now, after giving birth and, one day later, celebrating her third marriage anniversary with Nick Cannon by having their wedding vows renewed, Mariah is tweeting about the babies’ names, teasing her fans on Twitter.

“I wish I could personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies! they’re doing great,” Mariah first wrote after welcoming the babies into the world.

“And they are the most incredible gifts we could ever have imagined!” she further gushed.

“So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc. I had 2 C if any of the #lambily wanted 2 guess!!!” Mariah joked.

As expected, this prompted a wave of replies to the singer, with many fans (lambs) trying their hand at guessing the name – and, judging from Mariah’s replies, falling short of getting them right.

“The game continues!!!! This crew is a lil slow..lil slow...! Coming up next-the initials..I love the #lambily!!!! both begin w/M’s!!!! : )” the singer added at a later hour.

As of now, still no word on what the babies are named. Earlier speculation had it that Mariah and Nick might choose to reveal the names at the same time with the babies, perhaps in an extensive photospread and magazine interview in the manner of her pregnancy shoot.

Still, going by the way Mariah is teasing on Twitter, she may reveal the names of the babies here first. Keep an eye on this space for when she does so (if ever).
