Ever since giving birth to twins, Mariah Carey has been keeping a very low profile, only occasionally being photographed in public. Her fans are yet to see her and Nick Cannon’s kids. Luckily, Mariah will be showing them off to Barbara Walters.

A teaser for the upcoming 20/20 show has been released and, from the looks of it, fans (or the lambs, as Mariah calls them) will be offered a rare look behind the closed doors of the diva’s home.

Topics up for discussion range from her marriage, family life, the experience of motherhood and, hopefully, music as well since she’s rumored to be working on a new album already.

“Mariah and Nick recently sat down with Barbara Walters in their New York apartment to discuss Mariah’s pregnancy, their marriage, their beautiful baby twins Monroe and Moroccan,” an announcement from ABC says.

“Tune in to ABC next Friday, October 21st at 10:00pm to watch the exclusive interview including #DemBabies for the first time ever!” the same announcement says.

The teaser, which you can also see below, embedded at the end of the article, shows a glowing Mariah (who seems to have lost all the pregnancy weight) with Nick, talking to Barbara.

Later on, the proud parents take the talk show host to see the babies in the nursery. Fans know that Mariah is yet to show them off to the world, refusing to do the traditional celebrity mother-and-child photoshoot for a magazine.

At one point, word online was saying that Mariah was holding out from doing said photoshoot because she wanted more money but, now that she’s decided to open up to Walters, people are starting to say the reasoning was most likely different.

Mariah probably wanted to open up to someone she knew and trusted, and that’s why she refused to pose for the cover of a glossy magazine like most attention-hungry stars out there, it is being said.

Hopefully, Carey will explain herself why she chose to wait this long to introduce her twins to the world – and why she picked Barbara Walters for it.

In the meantime, below is the preview.
