14 DAY TRIAL // Recently, Mariah Carey has been getting a lot of flak in the tabloid media for gaining some weight but still dressing like she was as trim as always. Coming to show the world that she couldn’t care less about what critics have to say about her figure, the singer was spotted donning a silk swimsuit on a Malibu beach, while shooting a video for her upcoming single, “H.A.T.E.U.,” as AceShowbiz informs.
The outfit barely covers Mariah’s famously ample curves but, for what is worth, she seems extremely at ease with her body and very confident about the way she looks, several US media outlets point out. The singer struts, sashays, and strikes poses for the camera, consecutively wearing two swimsuits, one black and one white, with different fancy designs. From what pictures surfaced online show, the video will feature only the singer with the gorgeous backdrop of the ocean and the sunset.
“A brand new photo taken during the filming of Mariah Carey’s ‘H.A.T.E.U.’ on a Malibu beach in California has been put forward on Mariah’s official website. The snap shows the wife of actor/singer Nick Cannon hitting the shore only in [swimsuit]. The video is directed by Mariah’s long time collaborator Brett Ratner and has been wrapped on November 4 during which he tweeted a picture of him and Mariah. Recently, Brett reunited with Mariah when directing her ‘Obsessed’ video,” AceShowbiz says of one of the photos that have popped up online.
“‘H.A.T.E.U.’ is the third single taken from Mariah’s latest studio project called ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.’ Its official remix is produced by Jermaine Dupri and features additional verses from OutKast’s Big Boi, Gucci Mane and OJ Da Juiceman. In an effort to promote her new release, Mariah Carey will be performing at ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ and have a chat with the host on November 13,” the same e-zine further writes.
Mariah Carey fans, also known as “lambs,” are also invited to attend the Madison Square Garden show the diva will perform on the last day of the year.
