Details about Mariah Carey’s upcoming album are still scarce, but that is not to say fans can’t enjoy something new from their favorite singer out there. Mariah has just released a new video and track, meant not as a single off her future material, but as a gift to her fans on the occasion of her 1-year marriage anniversary, AceShowbiz informs.

“Love Story” is not a complicated single, or video for that matter, and neither does it profess to be anything than the most sincere love declaration ever made. Both the song and the accompanying video, shot during the couple’s happiest moments, should send off the message that, no matter how much tabloids speculate or haters desire, this is one couple that is kept alive solely by love and nothing else.

“Mariah Carey has premiered a music video filmed to support her single called ‘Love Story.’ In the newly-outed video, she is seen providing a look at her intimate moments with husband Nick Cannon by staying close to him in every occasion. ‘Love Story’ is a ballad song appearing on Mariah’s 2008 studio album ‘E=MC2.’ It reportedly is co-produced by a team comprising of such musicians as Johnta Austin, Jermaine Dupri and Seal.” the aforementioned source informs.

Nevertheless, not all is sunshine and roses for the celebrity couple, as a new single that leaked off Eminem’s yet to drop album “Relapse” has gotten Nick Cannon all up in a rage for dissing Mariah, as we also reported a couple of hours ago. The rapper, who is believed to have had some sort of fling with the “Butterfly” singer years ago, still can’t let go of her or of taking stabs at her in his music, referring to her in terms that we could not reproduce here.

Upset and highly offended by the diss, Nick Cannon took to his official blog, calling Eminem anything from a wuss to an ignorant who doesn’t know that, by insulting Mariah, he’s actually insulting the most influential black female artist of our times. In the same post – which has been deleted in the meanwhile – Cannon also “invites” Eminem to settle the matter “man to man” if he dares, but fails to say precisely what he means by that.

As of now, Eminem has remained mum on the topic of the diss. For Mariah’s latest video, for “Love Story,” go here.
