14 DAY TRIAL // Mariah Carey and Miguel were just two of the many performers entertaining Americans on Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, which aired live on NBC. Also live one hundred percent was their performance, as the video above will confirm.
For a few weeks now, Mariah has been criticized for lip-synching on various appearances (the American Idol finale and the more recent BET Awards 2013 being just two of them) when everyone on the face of this planet knows perfectly well that she can sing live – and damn well too.
With this particular performance, Mimi silenced her critics for good, delivering a top-notch live show worthy of a diva of her status. Miguel too totally held his own against her.
As a side note, I love it that Mariah lounges on hay stacks so casually while everyone gets to stand, and pretty much does whatever she wants when she’s on stage. Such a diva! And I mean that in the best way possible.
