14 DAY TRIAL // The “Elusive Chanteuse” Mariah Carey has had some rather embarrassing voice troubles during her latest concert in Japan over the weekend and there is a fan-made video to illustrate how much she struggled on stage.
Watching the video is hard for several reasons. The first and most obvious one is the audio which is terrible, since Mariah Carey is definitely struggling to keep up with the negative and the backing vocals. The second one is the fact that Mariah Carey seemed pretty much out of it, talking back at the cameramen, berating them for not giving her the best angle.

The fact that this performance was part of her Saturday concert in Japan, which was the kickoff for her “Elusive Chanteuse” tour makes the whole incident that more embarrassing for her. Sure, some polishing is to be expected during a first performance, but Mariah was damn near screaming at her fans by the end of the concert.
At another point during the performance, when Mariah was singing “We Belong Together,” there is a moment in which it seems that the singer actually forgot the lyrics to her song, but it has since been speculated that her microphone could have given out.
Many think that her poor performance is due to her divorce from Nick Cannon
Mariah has been involved in a bitter divorce from Nick Cannon for the past months and it's definitely affected her more than people thought. Unofficial reports claimed that she was a nervous wreck and that she used copious amounts of alcohol to get over her personal drama.
Other reports claimed that she was beginning to lose touch with reality due to her constant diva behavior and that friends were worried she was headed for a meltdown. Her performance over the weekend indicates that Mariah clearly did not bring her A-game to the concert.
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon seems to be faring much better from the divorce, since he was spotted out on the town partying hard, with models, Playboy bunnies and other prominent women. He has also been linked to be having an affair with recently separated Amber Rose, but that has yet to be confirmed.
The actor and television presenter was seen on his birthday without his shirt on and it appeared that he had covered up his famous Mariah tattoo with a larger, more intricate one depicting Jesus Christ.
For Mariah, the news is somber as she sets out to continue her tour in Australia next month in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
