14 DAY TRIAL // Mariah Carey and the other three judges were so impressed with Amber Holcomb’s performance on American Idol the other night that they gave her a standing ovation for it as well. Mariah might have also forgotten herself and dropped a couple of cuss words.

Amber chose Stevie Wonder’s “Lately” for the night and, in so doing, earned herself a spot at the top again.
Mariah described the performance as a genuine “tour de force,” saying that “it was [bleeping bleep].” I have absolutely no idea what she could have said to get producers to bleep her but I think I heard “freaking amazing.”
I could be wrong though. After all, why would producers bleep out something that was not bleep-worthy?
Either way, the other three judges were just as impressed with Amber, with Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson agreeing that it was “the best vocal of the night.”
