After all the trashing the R&B queen got in the media for her barely-there outfits (and we're talking here about her regular clothes, not her stage outfits), the reaction to this heading could naturally be one of 'no!, haven't we seen enough of it already?'. However, saying that would be unjust to her so we'll try very hard to hold our tongue. Plus, there would be no reason to say that, especially as she will only be gracing the cover (of the March issue of the popular men's magazine) and there would be no nudity in the picture. From what one celebrity blogger just posted on his site today, we can infer that the curvy Mariah will be donning a skin-colored swimsuit or something that very much resembles one. Sources from the media state that Mariah was more than ecstatic when the 'Playboy' mogul contacted her about the photo shoot, but also that she refused from the very start to strip off all her clothes. She and Hugh Hefner finally came to an understanding that the final photo will be sexy enough as to be worthy of 'Playboy', but in no way offensive for her self-esteem or her fans. Bottom line: there will be lots and lots of skin, but don't expect to see any of Mimi's private parts on display! There it is! What can I say more? I somehow tend to praise Mariah for finally making a wise decision in what regards her clothes. Sure, I often bitched about the fact that she can't seem to understand that slutty outfits (like this one) are no longer in and that they haven't been since the '90s and that she can never find something to wear that covers her belly and her popping boobs, but this time things are completely different! You don't see what I'm talking about? Hell, this is Mariah Carey, the world's most famous fashion victim, doing 'Playboy'... with clothes! You see now? Can't wait for the mag to come out! It will definitely be something really nice to see!
