The actress changes from sultry screen vixen to naughty tomboy

It's amazing how much hair color can change a person. This statement is especially true for Australian hottie Margot Robbie who went from stunning blond to mousy brown. That's not to say that brunettes or brown-haired girls are less attractive, it's just that for Margot this is a big change in appearance.

This change of look was prompted by her new role in the science fiction film “Z for Zachariah.” Margot posted the photo of her geeky new appearance on her WhoSay account and captioned it “First day on set for Z! She ain't a Duchess no more,” referring to her recent role in “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

In it, Margot played a blond bombshell, known to her controversial husband as “The Duchess” thanks to her stunning looks and British ancestry. Now, she's swapped expensive two-piece suits and slim-fitting dressed for a baseball cap and a T-shirt.

Make-up free, a nerdy-looking Margot gives her fans the thumbs up and poses in a tomboy half smile with just one corner of her mouth raised high.

It looks like Robbie is keen to try on different parts at the height of her success, probably in an attempt to avoid being pigeonholed as just a blond temptation. So far, she's done a pretty good job, by drastically altering her appearance as far as possible from her previous image.

Though by no means as drastic as, say, Charlize Theron's full body transformation for her Oscar-winning “Monster” movie, this too is a far cry for Robbie from her role of trophy wife Naomi Lapaglia.

In fact, she's hardly recognizable as a brown-haired girl. The only things giving her away are her signature blue eyes and her unmistakable smile. Looking at the picture and comparing it with the blond image you've seen plastered on movie posters, what do you think? Blond or brunette, which is better?
