14 DAY TRIAL // Still fresh from the huge success that was “The Wolf of Wall Street” film, Australian actress Margot Robbie has just been confirmed to play the role of Jane Porter in the 3D remake of “Tarzan.”
The role of the jungle man raised by apes is set to be played by “True Blood” actor Alexander Skarsgard. According to the Daily Mail, Alexander will be the one uttering the famous phrase “Me Tarzan, you Jane” to Margot on screen.
Rumors from the production process speak of Emma Stone as the actress who was vying for the part but ultimately lost to the 23-year-old blond. The film is set to be released in theaters worldwide sometime in the summer of 2016.
The production is shaping up to be a big summer blockbuster, as it's already managed to score some other big names from the industry. “Django Unchained” actors Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson have also been taped to star in the production.
