The Emmy-nominated "Desperate Housewives" star has accepted this summer the proposal of her boyfriend, businessman Tom Mahoney.
"The happy couple have not set a date for the wedding yet", Marcia Cross' spokeswoman, Heidi Slan, said at the time.

The sexy 43-year-old, who plays neurotic Bree Van De Kamp in the ABC hit show, was even rumored to be gay. But she slammed all accusations and revealed: "I'm getting married next year - it's going to be my only marriage. I met Tom last December, but we didn't go out until the beginning of January. I knew pretty quickly he was the man for me. It's one of those things - the old cliché, 'You'll know him when you meet him.'"

The star dreams of wearing a traditional white wedding gown and share the joy of the ceremony with close friends and family.

"It's really important to me that our families and friends are together and comfortable at our wedding and that we just have a really nice weekend together. (…) I will probably be wearing a traditional white dress. I'm pretty traditional", Marcia said.

"I suspect nothing's perfect. So that's the first thing: to go in with realistic expectations", the actress told America's Boston Common magazine.
