Marcello Lippi will leave Italy's pitch after the World Cup. It doesn't matter if he losses or wins the World Cup final against France. He has stated, before the tournament, that he will certainly not continue as head coach because of magistrates dragging him into the corruption scandal inside the Italian football. After being unable to train his squad properly, he has been continuously interrogated by the prosecutors.

Well, everyone in Italy might regret it now. The coach that may very well bring Italy's 4th World Cup title
will train some other team after the final. His players know it, the media knows it and the fans know it. The only thing that none of the above named people doesn't know is where he will coach afterwards. And, with the help of the English media, we found that out too.

It seems that Manchester United has already reached an agreement with the Italian for the next season. As for Alex Ferguson, the Scottish coach will train Man U alongside with Lippi. It is well known that Alex and Marcello are very good friends, from the period of time the two were coaching in the Champions League. Well, it seems that Fergie sees Lippi as the only man who could take over his job at Old Trafford.

As for Lippi, some pretty close friends of his told the media that he is very much thinking of coaching abroad. After managing to win everything there was to win in the Italian Serie A and Champions League - maybe even internationally - his main goal is to coach abroad. And what better to satisfy his wish that Manchester, who are in desperate need for a Fergie replacement for some time now.

"He is not looking for a lucrative contract since he has achieved success at the highest level. And working abroad is the only thing that interests him. He will not find it diminishing to work either alongside or under another manager", said the source from Lippi's side, according to "The Sun" newspaper.
