Marathon: Durandal is an Xbox Live Arcade game, a re-imagination of the '95 classic
Marathon 2: Durandal. It is a sci-fi first person shooter (FPS) released on the 1st of August 2007 by Bungie. The game costs 800 MS Points ($10) on Microsoft's platform.
Apart from being an excellent platform on which indie game developers can offer their creations, the Xbox Live Arcade service from Microsoft is also a way for old titles to get more playtime. The average age of Xbox 360 gamers is low enough for the developers to guess that they have missed most of the early '90s classic games, and XBLA is a good way for smaller companies to take the game back to the public in a new presentation, and to make money out of the process as well.
We know that true gamers play all these games just for fun, as they should and not in order to achieve specific point landmarks to prove their friends they are very cool, but we also know that sometimes you just can't live without achieving everything possible with a title you really enjoy. If that's the case and you want to know exactly what to look for when it comes to the game, we have prepared a full list of achievements. Good luck!
