During November, a sequel to the popular MMO Maple Story has been officially announced by Nexon. Now, the Korean publisher has posted a new cinematic trailer set in the world of Maple Story 2.

Maple Story 2 will break the mold of its side-scrolling successor by sporting a more traditional isometric perspective, with everything rendered in full 3D.

While not offering any new information, the fans can definitely enjoy watching the little video, depicting a combat scene between two of the game's cute-as-a-button characters.

The new cinematic trailer features nothing of what the upcoming game will look and play like, being just a rather showy hype-maker.

The video's content might be interpreted as a sign that the game will offer standard open-world PvP to make things more interesting, then again the trailer may just be a cute animation to look at while waiting for the final product.
