A photo circulating online last week stressed the importance of kindness towards anyone and sparked a video showing that many people are nice to strangers.

The photo showed a man doze off on another passenger's shoulder on New York City's Q train.

65-year-old Isaac Thiel let a man sleep when he fell on top of him. He didn't think it was a big deal, but the Internet praised him for it.

Nonprofit group Charidy set up an experiment to show that most subway passengers would be understanding enough not to disturb the sleeping stranger.

When a guy in a Fedora pretends to nap on other people in the NYC subway, a majority of travelers surprisingly let him sleep. I guess that New Yorkers are nice people after all.
