14 DAY TRIAL // Manti Te’o had his chance to speak out on the hoax that turned him into the butt of all (invisible girlfriend) jokes, so it’s now the hoaxer’s turn to have his side of the story known. Ronaiah Tuiasosopo spoke to Dr. Phil for the first time since the scandal broke.
Ronaiah basically pulled a “Catfish” type of hoax on Manti, and he tells Dr. Phil that the star was never in the loop as to what was really happening.
Another thing that he reveals to Dr. Phil is that he’s gay and that, as far as he was concerned, he didn’t lie to Manti about his feelings when he used to pose as a woman online and on the phone.
