Video game developer Valve has launched a new update for the Mann vs. Machine mode that was added to Team Fortress 2, offering players two new missions to play through as well as more items to use and better matchmaking.

The new missions are called Operation Oil Spill and Operation Gear Grinder.

They have been created in response to player comments about the difficulty level of Operation Steel Trap, with the first one designed to offer an easier fight for newcomers while the second is even harder and designed to the hardcore crowd.

The new items include rusted and 24 carat diamond encrusted robot heads that can be obtained from the two new operations and then used on the various characters.

Valve has also announced that the matchmaking for Mann vs. Machine in Team Fortress 2 has been improved and it is now easier for gamers to find a team and get into the action.
