Tomy i-Sobot robot is surely the world's smallest humanoid robot in the industry. The best news is the bot has finally begun shipping yesterday from Amazon.com, after it went on sale at the same web store in early September.

The cute bot is only 6.5 inch tall, but the best part is the robot can actually walk, talk and dance like crazy. The developers have also integrated a system that makes the bot understand up to 10 voice commands. Besides that, it can really make out about 200 words and phrases and execute more than 200 pre-programmed movements.

The bot has proved some genuine humanoid flexibility, balance and movement. According to robotsrule, the i-Sobot costs around 1000 bucks a piece or more for an entry level package. After the success of the Robo-one series, the manufacturers are sending the brand new developed i-Sobot robot line.

The same robotsrule reports that: "According to the Guinness Book of World Records, standing only 6.5 inches tall (16.5 cm), i-Sobot is the world's smallest mass produced humanoid robot. It sings, dances, rolls, kicks, and does just about everything you would expect a miniature robotic man to do. It also responds to 10 preprogrammed voice commands and comes with a hilarious collection of special action commands which include animal and celebrity impressions.

Finally, it can be controlled in proper fashion for robot soccer tournaments, races, and other friendly competitions via its powerful infrared remote control. The remote control also allows you to create scripts, which are user defined chains of robot movements. The i-Sobot comes fully assembled and ready to play right out of the box." And hey, it should be some serious stuff, as it uses gyroscopic sensors, 3CPU chips and 17 nervos.

Anyway, only if you buy one, will you be able to say if it's true or not. As far as I can see, the bot is like the Brad Pitt of its series, looking hot when performing push-ups? well, besides the part when it can actually stand on its empty head. As its specs list says, it can also do some "Somersault", it can do some splits and turn itself into Vin Diesel if you insist! Or not!
