14 DAY TRIAL // The Manjaro MATE 0.8.7.1 distribution has been launched for a couple of days, and given the popularity of the Manjaro flavors, we decided to make a short screenshot tour.
The MATE respin of Manjaro has been developed by the community and not by the official team, but that doesn’t means that it’s not a quality release.
Just like the base distribution, it uses Linux kernel 3.10, but it comes with MATE 1.6.1, Firefox 23.0.1, Pamac 0.7.6 and VLC 2.0.8a as media player.
Manjaro MATE 0.8.7.1 also comes with Xorg 1.14.2, the Pamac 0.7.6 package manager, Live-Installer 0.8.7.1, Pulseaudio support, the latest free and proprietary drivers.
