Samsung officially announced the upcoming availability of the Omnia M mid-range Windows Phone devices in Europe, a few days ago, and now it looks like the company plans to launch another smartphone based on Microsoft’s mobile platform, the SCH-S759.

Although we never heard of this Samsung SCH-S759, it’s almost certain that the smartphone is aimed at China. The folks over at Blog of Mobile spotted the device while it received its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications.

Given the fact that the handset has been confirmed to support CDMA networks, there are speculations claiming the Samsung SCH-S759 will be launched through China Telecom.

Unfortunately, there aren’t many of its specs revealed in the documents filed by Samsung, but at least we know it will be shipped with Windows Phone 7.5 onboard.

In addition, the smartphone supports Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz band), and that’s just about it. Even though we don’t have any other details on the phone’s specs, rumor has it that this is just a Chinese version of the Samsung Omnia M.

If that’s the case, expect the SCH-S759 to come with a more than decent 4.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone should be powered by a 1 GHz single-core processor, which is complemented by only 384MB of RAM.

The phone embeds 4 GB or 8 GB of internal memory, but owners will be provided with an additional 7GB of free online cloud storage via Windows Live SkyDrive.

There will be a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper as well, which features autofocus and LED flash, but also a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video chats.

It will be packed with various Samsung apps and services, including ChatON, Music Hub, Photo Studio, All Share and more.
