Windows Phone Mango will not be loaded only on high-end devices such as the HTC TITAN, but it will arrive on more affordable handsets as well, and the HTC Radar that went official yesterday is one such mobile phone.

Packing a 3.8-inch screen, the new device is loaded with a wide range of entertainment features, while being capable of offering fast access to people and news that matter the most to users.

The new Windows Phone Mango device was announced with an aluminum uni-body design, as well as with a compact size and finish, all aimed at making it as appealing as it can be for end-users.

“The new HTC TITAN and HTC Radar smartphones raise the bar with new advanced photography, multimedia and social capabilities that enable you to take full advantage of the latest Windows Phone innovations,” said Jason Mackenzie, president of Global Sales and Marketing, HTC Corporation.

HTC Radar was launched as an intuitive phone with features like a lively 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with F2.2 lens, LED Flash and BSI Sensor, as well as with HD video recording capabilities.

There is also the HTC Photo Enhancer, which provides users with the possibility to easily enhance photos and load them on social networking sites like Facebook.

The new smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz application processor, complemented by 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. It also comes with a VGA front camera, G-Sensor, Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor, as well as with 5.1 surround sound for video playback.

WiFi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 were included into the mix too, as well as 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port, 3G, GPS receiver, and a 1520 mAh Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. The handset sports Internet Sharing as well.

The mobile phone also comes with fast access to Twitter, Facebook and Windows Live, as well as with Bing Maps and with a variety of other features that are related to Mango, such as Zune music, Xbox LIVE, Internet Explorer 9 with HTML5 support, and more.

“Both HTC TITAN and HTC Radar bring a sleek, modern design that perfectly complements this people first experience, making sure it’s easy to connect & share with the people you care about most so the message always gets through,” Andy Lees, president of Windows Phone Division, stated.

The new HTC Radar Windows Phone Mango device is expected to become available for purchase in October this year in various markets around the world, starting with Europe and Asia, and should feature a price tag of around $570.
