gr8 but why the terminal [ console ] of Linux is complex why its can be like windows cmd ?

I'm glad the Terminal isn't like the Command Prompt in Windows, because the Command Prompt in Windows us useless.

Wht do you think the Terminal is more difficult than the Command Prompt? True, it has much more options, but that makes the Terminal so usefull and the Command Prompt useless.

You don't have to use all of those additional options of the Terminal. If you just use the basic options, you can use it in the same way as the Command Prompt.

'ipconfig /all' or 'ifconfig'
'dir "C:Documents and SettingsUsername"' or 'ls ~'
'ipconfig /release' or 'dhclient -r'
'move log.txt log.old' or 'mv log.txt log.old'

In my opinion the commands on the right side aren't more complex than the commands on the left side. Yes, you can use pipes to make very long commands and there are other features the Command Prompt doesn't have. As I said, those are only additional options and you don't have to use them. You can just use the basic commands, which makes the Terminal as complex as the Command Prompt.

Hmmm.......
Looks pretty good, but I hope it's not as clunky as Fedora. Fedora can barely fit on a DVD. My computer can only read CDs.

An incredibly sunny and user-friendly distribution with just the exact touch of sophistication linux needs. It has been the most wonderful experience to relearn my Mac ways into this full-fledged, incredibly professional distribution. For those inexperienced in Linux, and for those simply wishing a different view of things, try it and discover the world within linux -and all that open-source systems can possibly become.
