Police initially said suicide was most likely the cause of David Carradine’s death, when they uncovered his lifeless body in his hotel suite in Bangkok the other day. Later on, it emerged that the actor might have died from accidental asphyxiation and, now, his manager is telling TMZ that foul play might have also been the case, since Carradine had his hands tied behind his back when he was found.

As we also reported, the “Kill Bill” star’s body was discovered in his room, approximately 12 hours after he hung himself in a closet. Police issued a statement saying they believed suicide was the most probable cause of death, because of the rope tied around his neck. Since it later transpired that he also had other parts of his body tied tightly with a shoelace and rope, speculation started to circulate that accidental asphyxiation was also possible.

Chuck Binder, Carradine’s manager and also the first one to speak against the suicide theory, is now telling the media that the actor had his hands tied behind his back when he passed away, which would eliminate the possibility of asphyxiation by suggesting foul play. “Now we know why David Carradine’s family thinks foul play may have been involved in the actors death – his manager tells us Carradine was found with his hands tied behind his back. Chuck Binder, Carradine’s manager, tells us he firmly believes Carradine did not take his own life – nor does he think David died accidentally. Binder says the family has been told Carradine’s hands were immobilized by the rope.” TMZ writes.

As of now, Thai police have not made any comment regarding this newly emerged fact, since the case is still under investigation. They have, however, shot down the suicide theory – or at least admitted that an accident might have also been the case. “It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or [whether] he died of suffocation or heart failure.” a recently released official statement reads.

Word in the industry has it that, as noted above, Carradine’s family also believes foul play might have been involved in the actor’s death, despite police records stating that, at the time of death, he was alone in the hotel room. David Carradine was 72 years old and, in recent years, he had managed to successfully revive his once-flourishing career, especially after his performance in Quentin Tarantino’s two-part saga “Kill Bill.” Hollywood and all those who knew or worked with him are now mourning his passing.
