A genuine competitive advantage on the market is Microsoft's offer with Dynamics AX 4.0, the Redmond company's latest business-management solution.
Dynamics AX 4.0 is a complex Enterprise Resource Planning (EPR) solutions package that aims at increasing the performance of financial, customer relationship, business services, human resources management, and supply chain processes by streamlining and automating the interactions within these fields.
In this regard, Dynamics AX 4.0 works like familiar Windows software, having an interface similar to such programs as Microsoft Office and Microsoft SQL Server. The immediate enterprise advantage is the easy integration of the new management solutions with the already built in systems and software and a reduced learning curve for its employees.
"Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 helps businesses better manage the complexity within their organization and provides business insight so they can compete more effectively," said Mark A. Jensen, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics AX. "No matter what industry, customer service is a key differentiator today, so businesses need a platform that provides visibility and quickly adapts to the changing needs of their industry. By delivering this flexibility, Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 is transforming business applications to fit the way businesses and users work."
Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 is for now available only in the US and Canada, but will soon be shipped to Europe, being scheduled for global availability by the end of 2006.
