14 DAY TRIAL // CallGuard allows users to make blacklists or whitelists, by creating lists of phone numbers that must be rejected or other lists with the ones that should be accepted. Developed by SymbianGuru, CallGuard can be especially useful for businesspeople who cannot accept calls when they are in a meeting. The application can be scheduled to choose the action that is necessary to be performed. There is a wide range of actions that one can possibly take, such as rejecting certain phone numbers, or opting to reject the call and send an SMS to the rejected person. CallGuard is compatible with all Symbian Series 60.3 and Series 60.5 smartphones.
As soon as you install the application, you will be invited to either choose CallGuard to start automatically or you can turn the Autostart option off. The CallGuard Lists menu allows you to manage either the blacklists or the whitelists. The lists can be edited or you can choose to delete them. The first time you'll be using the software, you won't have any numbers in these lists, so you'll have to create new ones. After adding the numbers, you can choose the action used to reject a specific call found on the blacklist: by sending a busy tone, by muting the ring, or by sending a busy tone and an SMS.
CallGuard offers users an unlimited number of lists, but the downside is the fact that only one list can be active at one time. Also, one should know users will be able to deactivate all lists present, but the software will automatically activate the last one, which was activated with the help of Schedule up to that point. The Schedules menu allows users to activate and deactivate both types of lists with the help of schedules. The condition of the schedule can be set according to their needs: once, daily or on weekdays, or monthly. The trial version of the CallGuard is limited for ten days. The full version of the software is obtained by a license code provided upon purchase. The license code is based on the unique IMEI provided and the application can be used exclusively on the device it is licensed for. The license cannot be retrieved and applied to other devices.
