Money for BlackBerry smartphones is one of those money managers that cannot be missed if you're looking for a way to keep your expenses organized even on the go. Developed by ChanguitoSoft, a small software developer, Money for BlackBerry allows users to track their finances, export transactions they’ve done during the day, or schedule various others.

The application can be installed using the BlackBerry Desktop or, much easier, over the air. It is fully compatible with all BlackBerry smartphones running the BlackBerry 4.2 or above operating system.

The small software doesn't have an eye-candy graphical interface, instead it's easy to use and features an enhanced functionality thanks to its standardized look that blends the application perfectly into the operating system's interface.

Money for BlackBerry supports multiple types of accounts, such as assets, cash, checks, bank, savings, investments, liabilities, line of credit, credit card and loans. It also works with various currencies, which means that the application will automatically calculate the exchange rates when you are making a transfer between two accounts with different currency.

All transactions can be exported in QIF format or using plain text, which will allow an easy synchronization with any third-party software on your PC. Furthermore, scheduled transactions can be set and an indicator will be shown with the exact number of upcoming transactions. For those that like to often go shopping, Money for BlackBerry offers the possibility to create Shopping lists, which can be tracked using the checklist view. You can even define certain templates in case you're doing the same type of transaction very often.
Money for BlackBerry is available as a free trial version, after which you will have to register the application. The full version of Money for BlackBerry can be acquired for USD14.95.
