Kala Kaiwi is the new Guinness World Record holder for the biggest non-surgically made stretched earlobes in the world. Thus, this man's earlobes are each fitted with a ring measuring 4.3 inches (11 centimeters) in diameter.

Provided that you can find it in yourself to look away from his red eye and his dozen other body modifications, you can have a look at this man's oversized earlobes by clicking on the photo next to this article.

In case you haven't figured it out by now, Kala Kaiwi, who currently lives in Hawaii, is quite a big fan of tattoos and body modifications. He works in this business himself and even owns a shop dubbed Sin City Body Modification and Tattoo.

Apart from sporting the world's largest non-surgically made earlobes, the man has had plenty of other modifications done to his body. Thus, Kala Kaiwi has until now tattooed his eyebrows and had studs fitted onto his face.

Besides, he has spikes sticking out of his forehead, and he has even altered his nostrils to make them look bigger and have yet another place where to insert a ring or two. Most shockingly, he claims to have split his tongue using dental floss.

Apparently, the man's horns, visible in the photo accompanying this article, are made of silicone. The spikes emerging from his head are made of titanium, whereas the other piercings adorning his body are made of surgical steel, Oddity Central informs.

In an interview that he agreed to sit for a couple of years back, the man explained that, while some might find his appearance shocking, the people that he gets to interact with on a daily basis see absolutely nothing wrong with his looks.

“A lot of times it would be what a person would consider normal. For a normal person, tongue piercing would be extreme. For us, being around the industry for a long time, our tongues are split – to us that’s a norm. It’s just an evolution of body art,” he said.

Furthermore, “Before, you know, 10, 15 years ago, 20 years ago it would be considered forbidden. Now it’s on the forefront. A lot of people are starting to realise that if it’s done appropriately, it’s done in a safe, cleanly and sterile environment, it’s no different than doing breast augmentation or cheek implants.”

Despite the fact that he has been modifying his body for years now, it was only recently that Kala Kaiwi was officially recognized as the new Guinness World Record holder for the world's biggest non-surgically made stretched earlobes, Daily Mail informs. To pick up his award, he had to leave Hawaii and fly all the way to Milan, Italy.
