Warner Bros has finally made the announcement that will get fans excited and us, journalists, relieved. They revealed that the title for the “Man of Steel” sequel is going to be “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

This may give you some kind of insight into the movie's plot, but for us who kept reporting about it for the last couple of months since the project was announced, it's a huge break, since now we know what to call the movie that up to now we have titled generically “Batman vs Superman,” simply because the two superheroes were featured in it.

As you may know by now, Henry Cavill is going to reprise his role as Superman while Batman is going to be played by Ben Affleck, in a move that was deemed controversial by many fans, but director Zack Snyder is defending his casting call.

In fact, so far Snyder has made all his casting decisions controversial, because he chose the thin Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, the nerdy looking and angst-ridden Jesse Eisenberg as villain Lex Luthor so it's going to be very interesting to see what these actors make of it.

Fans are now looking forward to leaks from the script after the first photo with Batman was released last week by Snyder himself and it showed a beefed-up Affleck in black-and-white sitting next to the Batmobile.

The movie is going to be released in theaters across the world starting with May 6, 2016. Filming has already begun on Wednesday, May 21 in Detroit, Michigan and will continue in Illinois, Africa and even the South Pacific.

[Update] The good news regarding Zack Snyder's superhero epic just keeps flooding in today, as the official logo for the movie has also been released. As you'd expect, it's a combination of the Superman and Batman logos, superimposed one on top of the other and we have to admit that it looks pretty good so far.

What do you think about the upcoming movie? Do you think the director and the cast have what it takes to fill such a big order and do justice to the story? Let us know in the comments below.
