14 DAY TRIAL // Ben Affleck was confirmed last week for Batman in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” sequel, believed to be called “Batman vs. Superman,” and Bryan Cranston is rumored to be up for Lex Luthor. With this in mind, here’s what one fan imagined the movie would look like.
Above is a fan-made teaser trailer for “Man of Steel 2,” as edited by YouTube user Soylent Brak 1. It is, without a doubt, one of the best fan-made trailers ever.
Including footage from a handful of films, including Cranston’s hit TV series “Breaking Bad,” the “trailer” sees Henry Cavill return as Superman / Clark Kent, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
In addition to these two and Cranston the villain, it also features Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.
The overall feel of the video is more Nolanesque than typically Snyder but, even so, it’s pretty amazing. However, personally, I cringed when I heard Ben Affleck’s voice. I don’t think I will be able to get over my aversion of him as an actor until this comes out.
