What would you do if you noticed that you could withdraw as much money as you desired from an ATM? A man from Detroit found himself exactly in that situation and he withdrew $1.5 Million (€1.1 Million) and gambled it all away at various casinos.

According to Local10, Ronald Page wanted to gamble when he discovered that a casino’s ATM would allow him to retrieve any amount from his Bank of America account.

Instead of reporting the error to the financial institution, he took advantage of the offer and decided to try his luck and multiply the whopping amount of $1.5 Million (€1.1 Million) at three different casinos. However, he lost all the money.

After 15 days, the bank noticed the error and stopped all the transactions. Now, Page could be sentenced to 15 months in prison, Bank of America being partly blamed for the incident.
