14 DAY TRIAL // A lodge owner in Zimbabwe got a bit too close to nature when he found a crocodile lying under his bed.
Former cricket player for Zimbabwe, Guy Whittall, spent eight hours sleeping in his room, and never realized that the croc was sitting quietly under his bed.
He woke up, got dressed and left the room, and the reptile was discovered by the maid cleaning it after he was gone. The incident took place at the Humani Lodge in Zimbabwe.
“The really disconcerting thing about the whole episode is the fact that I was sitting on the edge of the bed that morning, bare foot and just centimeters away from the croc,” he describes for The Mercury.
The eight-foot (2.7-meter) monster was released into the Chigwidi dam in Humani.
